Meet Sister Rose Marie Holden, OSF: Sister Rose Marie was born May 17, 1923. She is the second eldest resident in our convent infirmary. She comes from a family of eight chilren, born in Phoenix, Arizona and attended St. Mary's Elementary School where she received instruction from the Sisters of the Precious Blood.

Meet Sister Mary Margaret Tan, OSF: Sister Margaret was born in Mainland China on February 22, 1926. She became a postulant at the age of 23 in the Convent of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows at Hengyang, Hunan, China.

Meet Sister Joanne Vaetz, OSF: Sister Joanne and her twin sister Mary were born at the old St. Vincent Hosptial in Northwest Portland on Christmas Eve 1937. Sister Joanne attended St. Mary of the Valley High School and then two years at the University of Portland, then two years at Portland State for a degree in education.
