O great and magnificent God, my Lord Jesus Christ, I implore thee to enlighten me and to dispel the darkness of my soul.
Give me a strong faith, firm hope, perfect charity.
And grant to me, O Lord, to know thee well enough to be able to act in all things according to thy light and in keeping with thy holy will. Amen.
